Despite major changes in working and organizational life, the degree of organization has been around and above 50 percent throughout the post-war period. In the 1980s and the first half of the 1990s, it was 56–57 percent. In the 2010s it was 49–50 percent. In 2019, the degree of organization was 50 percent; of these, 24 percent were in the National Organization in Norway (LO) and 26 percent in other organizations.
