The Organizations in Working Life

The organizations in the working life or working life organisations refer to employee organizations (trade unions) and employer organizations (employers’ associations). Cooperation between the organizations in working life and the state, so-called tripartite cooperation, is of great importance to working life in Norway. The Working Environment Act is often regarded as the fundamental law in Norwegian working life.
