The welfare state

The tripartite collaboration will provide security in working life. We find the same spirit of cooperation and the idea of ​​solidarity in the welfare state, which is emerging at the same time. The state takes responsibility for welfare benefits such as education, health and a social safety net through institutions such as Lånekassen, the health service and NAV. This means that everyone has the same opportunity to prepare for working life through education and everyone has security if they should fall ill or lose their job. The welfare state forms the second pillar of the Nordic social model.
